They also require access to a hose with running water.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis means that there is a great need for an alternate product.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe PRESERVATION KIT consists of:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003e1 custom made strong plastic sack 75 x 65 cm (width x height), which is reusable and provided with a drainage hole\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003e5 STRONG-GRIP aluminium clips with roller-pins.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003e1 clamping strap 1,5 m\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo like this:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003eRemove the propeller.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003eSeal the bag drainage hole by means of a STRONG-GRIP wherein the plastic wound 2 times around the roller-pin.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003eAttach the sack as shown on picture and fill with fresh water (or glycol mixture) from eg a bucket so that the cooling water intake is covered.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003eThe engine is started and allowed to idle (always follow the engine manufacturer's instructions).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003eThe liquid is re-circulated through the cooling system in a natural way for the motor.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003eIt is important to check that the cooling water circulates and that the engine does not overheat during operation.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\t\u003cli\u003eEmpty the sack when finished (in a vessel to reuse any glycol mixture) through the drainage hole by removing the STRONG-GRIP.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe PRESERVATION KIT can also be used for short test runs of the engine on land.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs an added bonus, the included 5 STRONG-GRIPs can be used as attachment points on the boat's winter cover tarpaulin.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Empire Fishing and Boating","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":52013732102461,"sku":null,"price":0.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/empirefishingandboating.com\/products\/outboard-preservation-kit","provider":"Empire Fishing and Boating","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
