    Description

When you’re chasing serious inshore predators, the Atomic Gorillas Big Eye 40g is the workhorse. Tail-weighted for maximum casting distance and rapid sink, this size is perfect for fast-moving schools of salmon, trevally, or even rat kings and mac tuna off the rocks or inshore reefs. Twitch, jig, or burn it back — it gets eaten.

    Tech Tips

    WILL CATCH

    • Australian salmon
    • Trevally
    • Small kingfish
    • Mac tuna
    • Bonito

    WHEN TO TIE ONE ON

    Perfect for:

    • Rock spin sessions
    • Inshore reef work
    • Chasing surface bust-ups

    HOW TO USE

    • Fish with 20 to 30lb braid and a strong leader.
    • Cast long into bait schools or drop vertically around wash zones.
    • Try erratic jigging or fast burns to mimic fleeing bait.

    THINK OUTSIDE THE SQUARE

    • Rigging with dual assist hooks gives this lure a deadly jigging flutter — try it on snapper in 20m+.
