Locking Plastic Rowlock Socket

A rowlock socket is a specialised fitting designed to provide a stable and functional anchor point for rowlocks or oarlocks on a rowing boat, canoe, kayak, or similar watercraft. It serves as a crucial intermediary component between the boat’s structure and the rowlocks, enabling rowers to propel their vessel through the water efficiently and smoothly.

Locking: This socket is designed to “lock” any of our rowlocks in place. The socket features a notch which holds onto the lip of the rowlock. See the picture for details.

Secure Attachment: These sockets are designed to securely attach to the boat’s gunwale or the thwarts, providing a stable and reliable anchor point for the rowlocks. This ensures that the rowlocks stay firmly in place during rowing.
